It was an honour to be a panelist at the recent US Embassy event run in collaboration with AmCham Mauritius (American Chamber of Commerce Mauritius). The forum was about ‘Women in Green Technologies: Empowering Women to Lead Sustainability Initiatives’.
Very real issues, about funding and growth of women entrepreneurs more generally, were shared and discussed, with a very interactive crowd.
My view is that only by sharing and discussing those issues candidly can we hope to address them.
I loved the opportunity to meet such a diverse group of women over lunch, some of whom I am happy to say have reached out to have that cup of coffee I talked about during my panel discussion 🙂
